What is your vision for CUMC in the next five years? Several discussions will take place. Schedule under “Upcoming Events.”

A new small group affiliated with the "Waterboyz" organization is starting up Thursday, July 16 from 7-8 pm at the Roy Rogers on Ballenger Creek Pike. This table will be led by Ray Barnes. This is a men's fellowship open to anyone regardless of church affiliation. Contact Ray for questions.

On July 15 from 3—6 pm we will hold a Family Fun Event.  This is a summer follow-up to the School Year Wednesday Cookie Connection but invites the entire family to participate.  Events planned include Line Dancing, art, a Veggie Tales Movie for younger kids and basketball if we get additional volunteers...and cookies.  Please contact Dot  (cumcstaff@familyofchrist.net) if you can help.

Summer Sunday School for Children and Adults meets at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.  What if ...families could grow in faith together?  What if family members had something that would spark meaningful conversations on the way home from church and throughout the week.  Everyone will be studying the same Bible lesson in age appropriate ways. We welcome newcomers anytime; each lesson stands alone.

SAS After Church Today.  We are cooking for the Soup Kitchen. Extra dishes are always needed. Please drop them at the church by 4:30 pm.  Volunteers meet at CUMC at 5 pm to travel to the Soup Kitchen to serve.

We’ve got a crocodile in the church lobby.  VBS encourages each of us to sponsor a child ($10 each) for this summer’s Vacation Bible School. Drop a check into the box on the table; write VBS in the memo.  Use envelop for cash.  This dock will rock!  Be sure to invite your friends and neighbours.

The Decorating Committee invites your comments on paint color selection for the lobby.  Put your initials on the back of the painted panel you prefer.  Light color is for walls & ceiling; dark color for partially exposed beams.  Sample panels are in the lobby.
